Previously. . .

Freed nodded shyly, pulling a picnic basket from behind his back. Mira giggled, blushing a little more. "Let's get outta here then!" she told him. She grabbed his hand from the other side of the counter and half led, half dragged Freed towards the entrance. They left the guild hall and headed towards Magnolia's South Gate.

And now. . .

Kenzie and Katana stalked their way to the guild hall. Kenzie was grumbling about having to bring Freed to the 8island restaurant, while Katana kept a smug look on her face since she'd won their game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. When the two dragon slayers were a block from the Fairy Tail guild, Kenzie spoke up.

"Alright here's the plan. I'm going to go in and get Freed to come with me. You stay here until you see me walk out. Then count to 60. You can walk in then.”

Kat opened her mouth to protest, but closed it just as quick. "Fine," she muttered. "Let's do this."

Kenzie nodded once, then sprinted across the road to the guild hall. She strutted in, looking around at the place she loved. She searched the room for the Rajinshuu team. She finally found Bixlow and Evergreen talking at a table, but Freed wasn't there. Kenzie walked towards the two.

"Wassup guys?" she asked the wizards.

Evergreen straightened her glasses. "Hey, Kenz. We're just talking about Freed." She looked over at Bixlow, trying hard not to laugh.

The young girl looked confused. "Uh, I see. Speaking of which, where is Freed?"

Bixlow spoke up this time. "You just missed him. He just asked Mira out on a date," he told her. His 'little creepy minions' -as Piper called them- repeated him, "On a date! On a date!"

Kenzie's jaw dropped to the floor. She stood looking idiotic for what seemed like an eternity, until Ever got the girl's attention.

"Uh, Kenz?" she asked her. "You all right there, girly?"

The dragon slayer shook her head. "I'm alright. Thanks, but I gotta go now."

She turned and walked very quickly outside. She ran faster until she got to her fellow dragon slayer. Out of breath, she stuttered, "Freed… Mira… they left…"

Katana's jaw dropped as far as Kenzie's had. "WHAT?!" the ice mage yelled. "Where are they? Are they okay? What are we going to do now?! Kenz, this isn't good. We gotta call Lucy!!”

The lightning wizard finally caught her breath. "Dude. Chill. I'll get my phone. I'll call Lucy. Just. Calm. Down." She pulled out her red cellphone, showing it to Kat. The dragon slayer sighed, watching her fellow dragon slayer punch in Lucy's number. Kenz put it on speaker.

The phone rang one time before Lucy picked up. "Kenz, hey. Everything okay?"

"Weeell, that's why I called. Me and Kat ran into a little speedbump. You see," Kenzie said nervously, "Freed and Mira already left on their own date." She hoped so much the celestial spirit wizard wouldn't be mad.

The girls heard silence. Then a slight laugh. "You two," Lucy said. "That isn't a problem at all! You know what that means? Less work for all of us. Now, new plan. Call the girls. Tell them meeting at my place in three minutes. I'll call Gray and Juvia. Me and Natsu will also come back with Happy, okay? Should I get your cats, too?"

"Nah. I think they like hanging out with the other Exceed," Katana replied.

"If that's it, then we'll see you at your place. Bye, Lucy," Kenzie finished.

"Bye, girls. Don't forget about Piper and Crystal. They could be anywhere. Tell them if they come with you, they'll get paid," Lucy finished. "Good luck; see you at my apartment."

Kenzie punched the off button. She typed in Lily's cell number right after. Again, she put the phone on speaker.

"You've reached Lily. What can I do for ya?" Lily almost always answered the phone like that, no matter who it was.

"Hey, girl. Kenz and Kat here. Where are Piper and Crys?" the lightning wizard asked Lily.

"Those two left not too long ago... I thought I heard some shouts just outside though. Lemme check. Be right back." The older girls could tell she left her phone on her bed. While they waited, Katana whispered, "We should get to Lucy's apartment." Kenzie nodded. They walked and listened for Lily's voice.

Lily picked up her phone and told the girls, "I yelled at them to come up here. Now, what is it?"

"Operation Freera is down the drain. Meeting at Lucy's in about two minutes. See you there, gotta go," Kenzie said to the younger wizard as her and Kat walked up Strawberry Street.

"Oh-kaay? See you there," Lily replied. She hung up.

By the time the girls opened the door, Gray, Juvia, and Erza were sitting around Lucy's coffee table. Juvia looked up and waved at the dragon slayers. Gray said hi to his sister, and Erza gave a nod.

"Where're Luce and my brother?" Kenzie asked the older wizards. They all shrugged.

The door clicked closed behind Kat, but opened just as quickly to Lucy and Natsu with Happy above their heads.

"Glad you guys made it," Lucy said to the group. "Hey Erza, I'm happy to see you made it back! Are you caught up with the now-previous Freera plan?"

"Yes, Gray and Juvia told me everything. You know, it's really nice that you'd try doing such a nice thing for Mira," the scarlet-haired mage told her friend.

Lucy nodded in reply. Natsu answered the door for Lily, Piper, and, Crystal. The music wizard looked calm, but the other two were pretty scraped up. The cause was obvious to everyone.

"Great, we're all here," Lucy sighed. "New plan, guys. Everyone is required by me to stay away from Mira and Freed."

Juvia raised her hand. "No one knows where Freed and Mira are, Lucy-chan."

All the other wizards nodded with agreement. Lucy didn't think of that. She sighed. "New-new plan, then. Let's all go hang out at 8island. I know they aren't there. Otherwise Yagima would have called," the blonde mage decided.

So off they went to spend the rest of the day at an old favorite restaurant.
